What have I been up to: Tell you later

I'm having a bad week, folks. Something in Godzilla set off an almighty panic attack before the monster even showed up, then I was put in the worst situation possible right after that. At least I'm getting webpage shit done.

Eventually I'll actually advertise said websites. I don't even know if I want an audience. I kind of like toiling for myself, it means the only person I can disappoint is me. I sort of debated deleting that last sentence because it sounds self-deprecating. But I just mean if you've paid attention to me for any amount of time you may have noticed I leave a trail of abandoned projects in my wake.

I don't even know if it was Godzilla! I was only twenty minutes in and nothing scary had really happened. Just suddenly I had this horrible feeling in my stomach of panic and had to get the hell out of there. I'm actually disappointed I didn't get to see the whole movie. If it shows up on Netflix, I'll try again. Definitely not trying in the theatre again.

I would probably have been fine if a communication error hadn't led to me standing outside for a half hour with people and cars going past me continuously in a way designed to put me in total freak out mode. Like if I'd been able to go somewhere quiet instead.

I sympathize -- I made a wrong turn that got me into a world of fail, while driving two young teens to meet up with the rest of the birthday party. I eventually bailed on that and went for the backup plan, but it was fucking stressful and kinda dangerous as I kept flailing around.
