I could murder a gyro right now

I continue to live in a world without replicators that I have access to and that's a pain in the ass. I can't watch a show I like, Elegant Yokai Apartment Life, because it has so many delicious scenes of food I can't get that I just end up starving and frustrated. It looks so good.

I put 'cerulean orbs' in a story as a joke and it fell completely flat to my first reader and now I have to edit it out with fire before it gets posted.

In my archaeology class I'm getting to mess around with pot sherds and I found *two* rim pieces today of two distinct vessels. They're from an actual dig and we're doing the second go through of them.

I managed to paint a flower again today, a selection of larkspurs! One day I'll actually upload and post 'em. Probably when they're all done. I tried out a new technique and it worked great (painting, then inking) and I think I'm going to keep experimenting with that.

Tomorrow is my rest day and I'm going to spend it with a movie and a box of foreign snackfoods I got on a whim. I haven't decided what movie yet. My heart says Scorpion King, my brain says 'you've seen that sixteen times please stop putting me through this'
