ANNOUNCEMENT
Aug. 7th, 2011 08:19 pmATTENTION, CITIZENS!
I would like to invite you to an amazing opportunity! That's right, game night. That's singular. I don't plan on doing this regular.
I would like to play a board game with you people. It's called Balderdash, which is a game of filthy lying and writing, which I think is something y'all like very much.
________
FAQ:
1. John, how do you play a board game online?
Glad you asked, citizen. You do it via me and my pal Snacky both having copies of the game* and taking turns asking the questions. Since we have less chances of guessing, if no one guesses the right answer, we get three points instead of just one. The first person to 15 (or 20, depends on how long we want to play) wins.
2. John, how do you keep people from knowing who wrote what answer?
Easy! You send the answer to me and I check it for spelling and capitalization, and then post it in a list with the others! No one should know who wrote what.
3. John, where is this played?
I should have said this sooner. The game is played on AIM. You need an aim account to play.
4. John, when is this wonderful opportunity?
It's at Sunday 6 pm central time August 14. If you come, you're doing me a great service of tearing me away from City of Heroes, which is doing double xp that weekend and if I play it too much, I start trying shoot people with laser eyes. It's also a prelim celebration to the most holy of days, my birthday.
________
I've done this before and not only did it work perfectly both times, it was also a lot of fun for everyone involved. So please! Come along!
My aim name is VooodooHamster.
*if you are interested in playing and ALSO own a copy, I would love for you to come along and do this with us
