What, in your opinion, are the best classic Doctor Who serials? I have access to all of them, I just need to choose where to start. I have no character preferences.

The Key of Time! This is a series of 6 serials. It features my favorite companion Romana I (she is so snarky) and the 4th Doctor (the one with the scarf). If you are only going to watch one serial watch The Pirate Planet. It's written by Douglas Adams, and has some of my favorite lines ever. But really the whole arc is worth watching.

Also written by Douglas Adams is "The City of Death" it has the Doctor and Romana II in Paris.

Tomb of the Cybermen is a fairly early one, but features a classic bad guy, the second Doctor thinking on his feet, and a fairly famous example of the Doctor discussing his past. On the wonky special effects side, keep an eye out for a light in the hat of one of the bad guys - the battery would keep dying over shoots and they'd have to replace it.
