Proof of life, yuletide recap

Hello everyone. It's 2025 and I've been forced to post a picture of myself to moodle to introduce myself to my fellow students. I made a weird face and warned them I'm Old and please be patient.

Speaking of that specific class, I asked the prof a few days ago what supplies we needed for it (drawing II, I had previously taking Drawing I many years ago) and she said not to worry, she was going to be sending an email out to everyone right away. Well right at Friday as she left for the weekend she sends out an email that for supplies: "paper, pencils, charcoal, etc, what you had for last term"

After going through the five stages of grief, I emailed her asking what was contained in the 'etc'. No answer yet, wish me luck. I did find the syllabus (nothing in there) that mentioned gesso, so I'm getting an idea that I really need to know what else is in that etc.

Anyway, I wrote a Tintin fic that my OTHER class this term, the Chinese Canadian Experience which is about Chinese Canadians from the gold rush, railroad, the exclusion years, etc, to modern times that like day one made me realize for this Tintin fic I may have wanted to check some of the dates a little closer than I did.

I think it's still okay but I've never done that to myself so soon after a fic before.

Otherwise I'm very pleased with the story.
