I been writin'

This monday I would have completed my flower project except it was a location based thing and that location is currently cut off from me but do not worry, I will figure something out and you will see my progress on drawing flowers soonish. I also need to access a scanner, somehow.

Anyway! Onto the main event!

I've written a lot of stuff lately for exchanges that I'm going to have to go back and figure out what I've posted here or not already, but for now I know for certain I have not announced this one because it was not for an exchange! It was just a story I wrote! To simply write!

Summary:

A short story about toys, children, and how it doesn't end well when you completely dismiss both.

I lived alone with my daughter in a house which was far too large for us, but had the advantage of being inherited from my parents. I worked hard to maintain it and expected my daughter to do what she could to make raising her simpler. She was a quiet girl, her most obvious fault a tendency toward flights of fancy while I did my best to keep her anchored in reality.
