Hallo! Apparently 2019 took 3 years
Feb. 10th, 2020 01:04 amOkay so for the past decade or so, my dad's held an Oscars party which I usually go to because it has catered food and I *love* free food. Especially if it's like, stuff like dates wrapped around almonds and bacon, etc. Or the other way around. This year he didn't do it! So I got no food. I had a microwave dinner and later a sandwich, like a serf.
I did finish my main studying though!
Anyway, so about the Oscars - My only interest has always been the animated movies. And usually just the feature length ones (although, fun note, the one I backed on Kickstarter, Hair Love won! I was like 'aw, I knew you when you were just concept art!') and to my great surprise Toy Story 4 won.
Not surprised by it being:
But surprised because I thought it came out two years ago. And another one that was up, How to Train your Dragon: Hidden World, I thought came out three years ago.
How long was 2019? Did it actually end? I'm not sure. January seemed to take six months. I thought time got faster when you got older. But everything keeps happening all the time constantly without a break.

once_upon_fic are open! Go and write a fairy story for someone. Get one in return. It's great. It's free, depending on how you consider fairy bargains in terms of cost.
One last note: My cat remains extremely soft, but extremely naughty.
Difference between my mom and I (disclaimer: we both got these jokes off uncredited memes):
Me: How many short story writers does it take to change a lightbulb? 2. One to screw it in, and another to give it a surprising twist at the end.
Mom: How many dead bodies does it take to change a lightbulb? Well it's not 6, because my basement is still dark.
My sister, distantly: oh my god

Not surprised by it being:
- A harrowing descent into madness (did you notice in the 1st one, no one questions if Woody really murdered Buzz?)
- a pixar film? Winning an Oscar? Who ever heard of such a thing?
- The entire first half is preventing a character from committing suicide despite it being their dearest wish
