Okay, so like. My friend Edna* is having problems with her friend. Her friend invites her out for a day on the town. Edna asks me what to do.

I was all 'sure, you should go and maybe you'll make up!'

Except, gentle readers, I did not realize I had written 'out', not 'up' and couldn't figure out why Edna was yelling at me all of a sudden.

I made it worse, of course.
