So I heard scratching at the door earlier. It was my dog wanting to be let in! So off I go to the door to let her in. As I come closer, she turns and bolts and won't come when I call her. Okay. So I close the door and go back to my computer.
A while later, I hear scratching again. I open the door and there's my dog and my cat. No bolting this time and they both come in. I shut the door and lean down to pet the cat.
At this point, all my pets are in the house how I like it.
I go back to the computer.
Then I hear scratching at another door, the back door. Now, you must understand that our house is very big. We live in the country. It takes a long time to get from the front door to the back door.
Curious what's going on, I go and open the back door.
There's my cat again. She comes in, mews at me, and walks on.
This is my cat:

I haven't the slightest idea how she ended up outside and in that area. I checked all the doors. Only the back and front doors are the ones that aren't a series of two heavy doors you have to get through before you actually get into the house proper.
( I took a picture of the front doors. Do you see any way a cat could have gotten out that? )
