crantzI haven't done my annual read of The Cremation of Sam McGee, so I need to get on that. Although HAS it gone down to -30 yet? I don't really know. I just know it's been bitter and awful.
Took the cat (Muezza, not Merlyn or Benjamin) to the vet for her dental today and getting her into the carrier with my sister was pretty funny. At first she kept escaping the towel and then finally my sister bundled her up sufficiently she couldn't escape and instead of yelling and struggling she just sat there with a :| expression as she was literally stuffed in as it turned out once you added a towel and a sitting position, she was a bit large for the very small carrier opening.
Just totally silent 'you goddamn maroons' behaviour out of her for that part.
I got pie at the grocery store, my game (WoW) is having a big update today, I met with my professor to discuss upcoming tests and found out I get special permission (I didn't ask! She brought it up herself) to be allowed to do a digital art piece for the special project unlike anyone else because she's seen me make my comics and knows they won't be AI. I had been planning to do it on paper, but this does make it easier on me, surface to work on wise. I happily told her for extra confirmation, the program I use (procreate) makes a video of the whole drawing being created for doublechecking. 'You will see me draw lots of circles as I warm up my hand'
I haven't done many comics lately - I have drafts, I have scripts, I have ideas, but I've been focused on other stuff. I'll get back into the groove. I don't feel burnt out or anything, just so much time in the day.
I'm working on a special project I can't talk about publicly until it's done but I hope I succeed so I can talk about it without shame. Ann and Vali have been helping me with it.
My poor girlfriend accidentally poisoned her music algorithm when an ai music video tricked her, so she's in a pit of despair right now. I wish I could figure out how to unfuck it for her. But they really like to entrench that bullshit, don't they.
Ann and I found out about crafting cruises and that seems promising as a future adventure. All the people doing it in the video looked like us which was an interesting experience.

CoH it is, I guess. Pizza in T-minus 30 mins, if all goes well. Little local place who hecks up my order 1/4 of the time, but, local small business so.... I mean, I always get a pizza out of it, so it's fine. ^_^;
