The Mutant Massacre was a big deal in a lot of ways that I assume you know by choosing this tag. So how did common mutants react to it? How did reporters handle it? What did the average citizen do? Did urban legends spring up about the sewers? What sort of changes did New York do about it? Just basically I want to see an in-universe reaction to that.
Alternatively, if you just wanted to do everyday mutants, what does a mutant who isn't involved in shenanigans get up to? I'm open to this being from any period of the marvel universe, even before the X-Men have their first outing or the most recent stuff. I just want to see how the Marvel universe is faced when you're a mutant.
I understand that the fic I may get from these prompts could be a real bummer. That's okay. Just do what feels right.

Okay, you ever notice that in the Marvel universe, Canada is like super shady? Like Russia-in-James-Bond levels shady? As a Canadian, this absolutely delights me. I would love further exploration into the various fake-world politics of the Marvel universe. Like the experiments on mutants, the spies, the secret teams, etc. I say fake-world because I want something that could only exist in the Marvel universe, politics wise.
Government! Right, again I very specifically want fake-world politics. What is it like when you have Atlanteans? Inhumans? Cable sometimes making entire countries by flying them around? What sort of stuff do you have to dance around with when you're pretty sure the ambassador from Latvaria is a Doombot? Or the Secretary of State is a Skrull?
I've enjoyed stuff like The Thick of It, I'm from a country with multiple political parties, and I love epistolatory.
I'm happy with very serious to silly takes on these prompts! Let your muse by your guide. I just want it to be something that, again, can only exist in a universe with Marvel's parameters.

Ghosts! In game there are multiple Pokemon who were humans as well as human ghosts who aren't Pokemon. Isn't that neat? I want to see stuff that focuses on these elements. Like what do you do if your Yamask needs therapy about its past life? What do you do if the ghost walking around your room at night turned out to be a murdered bride, not a Gengar?
Also a lot of ghost Pokemon are seriously dangerous, like one of my faves, Honedge, or like Litwick, and their deal is that they're sucking out your life force basically. What's that like on a trainer? Do their trainers lead shorter lives? Or are there special techniques?
Guides, letters, actual adventure story, 'buzzfeed unsolved for Pokemon, all of it sounds delightful for this.

The first is sort of self explanatory. So many stories were 'for another time' and I'm curious how that plays out in a universe where every character has their own story that branches into other characters with their own story. While you could certainly just tell me a story that went untold, you could also explore the story network/web that the world is made out of!
Another self-explanatory one. Does the story always go that way, that she needs a name? How has it worked before?
I liked that centaur doctor and would like to know more about his people.
Some of these might lend themselves to a narrative, but also what about a presentation at a school of learning in universe?

You might notice a theme with these tags. Listen, I love Finley. Here's his bio on wowpedia: https://wow.gamepedia.com/Sir_Finley_Mrrgglton
So he's why I'm curious about all those many dialects as well!
But it doesn't have to be about Finley's adventures, there's other murlocs who lead interesting lives in the game or even ones you can come up with yourself. What is life like as a murloc adventurer? What are the heroes of their nation like? What would it be like to party (as in adventure with, not go out drinking and singing but that's okay too) with a murloc?
Someone observed that no matter who you were in life, in Bastion you basically end up as a blue human which means any of those Kyrians could have been a Murloc too. Were any? What was a murloc devoted to service like?
I ask that if the entire fic is in mrgl, that there be a translation available.
