Dear Chocolate Box
Jan. 1st, 2021 06:21 pmHi! I'm Rosencrantz! Thank you for reading my letter!
Likes: Adventures, casefic, romance, spooky.
DNW: Dub/noncon, underage (as defined as romance/sex involving over 18 with an under 18), unhappy endings.
FANDOM: DCU (Comics)
Relationships:
Fandom Specific DNW: Deadman in the period where he was in Thomas Wayne Jr's body. Or sex while Deadman is borrowing a body that hasn't consented to that beforehand.
Fandom notes: As you are aware, DC comics is sprawling and consistently updating and changing itself. Decades might as well be different characters entirely. My primary knowledge of these characters comes from the 60s to early 2000s. This isn't forbidding you from using the later stuff, but giving you an idea of what sort of characterization I'm familiar with. I guess when it comes to comic requests I am less 'it must be this specific adherence to canon setting and period and storyline and cannot deviate' and more 'I would like the platonic ideal of these characters'. Also I haven't seen the horror Deadman comics but I'm not adverse to some horror.
Prompts:
Deadman/Batman:
Batman/Jim Gordon:
FANDOM: Marvel (Comics)
Relationships:
Fandom Notes: Like I said about DC Comics, Marvel is ever changing, expanding, and hitting characters I like with missiles after putting them on buses and that wasn't a joke. I'm not sure any of these characters are even currently alive. Again, obviously you should not be afraid to use any era you want because I will love whatever you make but if you're looking for some guidance, while I'm familiar with the canons over several decades, for Wolverine/Nightcrawler I'm most familiar with their interactions in early Claremont, for Black Tom and Cain, I'm most familiar with them for that era too, and for Ororo & Remy, I'm most familiar with them shortly before Gambit gets his ass dumped in the arctic. But that said, I've read comics with them from all eras and enjoyed them thoroughly. I even like that alternate future where Cain became a hero and had a son who becomes the next Juggernaut! Uh I know it wasn't with Tom but speaking of kids... he was probably around for raising Theresa.
Prompts:
Wolverine/Kurt:
Black Tom Cassidy/Juggernaut:
Storm & Gambit
FANDOM: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
Relationships:
Fandom specific DNW: Listen. That whole tape where Warrick goes on about Grissom being his father. I would like to pretend that never happened. Daddy kink is okay but not what I'm seeking in this particular situation. Also Grissom cheating on Sara or Warrick on his wife. Preference to either setting it before those relationships or having them never have happened.
Fandom Notes: Warrick got a lot of character development after he died, as if to personally hurt me. I'm all for its inclusion.
Prompts:
Gil/Warrick:
FANDOM: X-Men: The Animated Series

Fandom Notes: I love this cartoon. It's fun. That's all.
Prompts:
Gambit & Jubilee & Wolverine

FANDOM: DCU (Comics)
Relationships:
- Boston Brand/Bruce Wayne (DCU Comics)
- Bruce Wayne/Jim Gordon (DCU Comics)

Prompts:
Deadman/Batman:
- Boston romancing Bruce/Batman through borrowed moments and words with other peoples bodies
- Boston interacting with Bruce VIA Bruce
- Ghost story
- Places switch
- Origin switch (that is also somehow romance)
- Ouija board love letters
Batman/Jim Gordon:
- Bruce and Jim together with Bruce the civilian
- That issue during the No Man's Land storyline where Batman tries to come out as Bruce to Jim as well as apologizing for being absent was shippy as HELL maybe something about that?
- Jim has his own secret identity
- Jim has always known Batman was Bruce
- Retired from it all?
- Awkward event where they sneak away together (maybe to fight crime? but then romance)
FANDOM: Marvel (Comics)
Relationships:
- James 'Logan' Howlett/Kurt Wagner (Marvel Comics)
- Black Tom Cassidy/Cain Marko (Marvel Comics)
- Ororo Munroe & Remy LeBeau (Marvel Comics)
Fandom Notes: Like I said about DC Comics, Marvel is ever changing, expanding, and hitting characters I like with missiles after putting them on buses and that wasn't a joke. I'm not sure any of these characters are even currently alive. Prompts:
Wolverine/Kurt:
- Is it possible to write shipfic explaining how Kurt somehow grew a beard in some comics? This implies Kurt shaves.
- Kurt getting his bearings early on and Logan's gruffness
- Canadian shack
- Circus
- Movie night
- Going out with Kurt when he doesn't have his hologram thingie after he gives it up
- I have often found Canadian and German cooking to be very compatible
Black Tom Cassidy/Juggernaut:
- They were partners for a long time! With a stolen kid!
- Something domestic
- A crime
- Escaping being dumped in the ocean
- Future where they're both alive and fine
- Movie. Down in front, Cain.
- Getting groceries (while also being international criminals)
- Just a good long mocking session about their respective relatives (Sean, Charles, ...Cassandra Nova?)
Storm & Gambit
- I like the comics where they have a sibling-like relationship a lot
- Like when Gambit's being an annoying younger brother
- Or when he looked out for her when she was trapped as a kid
- Getting marriage advice after he marries Rogue?
- Comforting Storm after her divorce with T'Challa? Like he just nullified it on her. Damn
- Thieving contest that drives the whole mansion nuts but it's a matter of PRIDE now
- Remy quits smoking. Ororo helps. Maybe something blows up.

Relationships:
- Gil Grissom/Warrick Brown (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation)
Fandom specific DNW: Listen. That whole tape where Warrick goes on about Grissom being his father. I would like to pretend that never happened. Daddy kink is okay but not what I'm seeking in this particular situation. Also Grissom cheating on Sara or Warrick on his wife. Fandom Notes: Warrick got a lot of character development after he died, as if to personally hurt me. I'm all for its inclusion.
Prompts:
Gil/Warrick:
- Early episodes state clearly that Warrick is Gil's favourite
- What if Gil wasn't the supervisor? What if it was Catherine? What would their relationship be like then?
- Roller coasters!
- Something intense over the most weird forensics thing you can think of
- Warrick goes to a cockroach racing competition with Gil
- Gil keeps finding creative ways to keep Warrick away from casinos that Warrick quite likes
FANDOM: X-Men: The Animated Series
Relationships:
- Gambit & Jubilee & Wolverine (X-Men: TAS)
Fandom Notes: I love this cartoon. It's fun. That's all.
Prompts:
Gambit & Jubilee & Wolverine
- Jubilee drags them to the mall and something something now something's on fire
- Homework help for Jubilee - I'm pretty sure Gambit was pseudo-homeschooled at best and Wolverine's from another century
- Baseball game
- Trying to find out why Wolverine's hair does that thing
- New Year's with the two explodey mutants and the mutant with super hearing
