My week is pretty set

crantzI've completed all my readings and viewings for school until the next assigned ones, I'm mostly on a diurnal schedule, and I've been figuring out how to properly harness the immense power of my adhd meds.
It doesn't need much elaboration but I've discovered if I do all the distractions *first*, I don't suddenly hyperfocus on like... herb node hunting in WoW when I should be reading an extremely catty article on the early history of North American archaeology.
Okay so. When white people barged in, there were a lot of big mounds (and other stuff) in the midwest. The local indigenous population didn't really seem to be building mounds (they were kind of busy being killed) so the white people went 'okay OBVIOUSLY there was ANOTHER race that predated these guys and OBVIOUSLY they were from Atlantis.*'
Anyway now those mounds are located beside a highway.
But where I'm going with this was I was not expecting Atlantis to show up three times in three different readings. Or ever.
I cannot wait to find out what I believe is totally bugnuts in 20 years.

Date: 2020-09-23 12:16 pm (UTC)Professor wanted to do in-person classes on monday so she could see if we were understanding the material by 'looking us in the eye' but we've asked nicely to move it to zoom on account of several reasons that aren't just the plague. She says we will transition there.
Of course, the class we do have on zoom with her went totally awful yesterday. One classmate kept disconnecting her equipment and another had connection issues.
