The lamp is possessed, kumbaya

crantzSo we've been doing Archaeology at my house (before the Big Shutdown we took out the pottery sherds we needed to analyze for the report) and we have decided that my little diary lamp was too wimpy for our purposes. So we got out a lamp!
WELL.
First, the lamp wouldn't turn on. Then the powerbar started turning on and off. Then we managed (via several steps between there and here) to get the lamp to turn off! But it was moving up and down the dimmer switch in a cycle! Then we managed to get it to stop and obey its commands!
Anyway now we can't turn it off and we're frankly afraid to try.
Not a lot of options right now, I'm afraid. For REASONS.
Realized that I stick to such a specific diet (which has actually been a godsend right now, because it's very easy to stock up on since it seems to be very abundant and limits the need for supply runs) that you might as well point at my food and go 'that's John's special senior kibble'
I scripted and drafted a 12 page short story horror comic which reads like a SFF r/relationships post. I'm a bit stymied on starting the final art because, I confess, I'm going 'but zee typeface, it must be perfect!' because that's easier than committing myself.
But on a more serious note, I do need typeface help with a non-comic project but fiction adjacent if anyone happens to have Opinions they're willing to share with me on Discord. My collection and options are as vast and the sea. And even better, I have the rights to use 'em.
