I got Animal Crossing because that seemed like the most sensible thing to do under the circumstances. I keep dying in it. I said it was gonna be a No Mercy Run but I'm the one who needs the mercy.

Tomorrow I'm gonna polish off all the pottery I need to do, then find out what happens next on Monday. Good luck to my course.

I've played almost no World of Warcraft now that I actually have time, proving my mind is as fickle as the sea.

I'm considering a nap! I like those. Yes I'm aware this post is at midnight, but I woke up at 11 pm.

My life is a little out of control right now.

Let that nap extend if it wants to and get you back onto schedule. I am a night owl, and my body tends to want to stay up all night, but I hate missing daylight, and all the things you can get done in it--the being in synch thing with the other people, even those god damned sell righteous morning people, really does help mood and feeling more in control of your life. It's a daily struggle for us night owls, and it hasn't gotten any easier with age for me. Sleep good!!! Good luck!

I can't replant - I'll never see that island again. But I found a solution in that I can't use my Good Axe that won't break, I have to buy multiple shitty axes that will break (and then switch to the unbroken one next in the row) which removes lumber resources for me but won't cut down the tree. More expensive, but I don't lay waste to an entire island.

You can die in Animal Crossing? If so, I highly recommend Stardew Valley. It's so relaxing I find myself dozing off in the middle of playing.

Oh! Well that sort of happens in Stardew too.

I didn't know Discord had a one-to-one chat option, but we also have Hangouts, FB, Skype etc... and I'm sure I can find an AIM client somewhere.

I don't use Skype anymore and AIM got shut down (RIP) but yeah, Discord has a pm option! I use it all the time.
