Midterm on the 12th!
Feb. 5th, 2020 06:16 pmStudy! Panic! Play a videogame and stare into the abyss!
I've been spending the past few weeks sorting pottery sherds which is all well and good and very exciting when you find a piece with ochre ('it's ritual!') as part of my archaeology class but it sure is cutting into my sitting around and drawing flowers time! I kill me. Anyway I'm starting to go a little insane from how hard it is to keep fabric impressed and cord roughened meanings straight - I can tell them apart no problem but it's like if I keep looking at a turtle and going 'that's a mammal' and a squirrel going 'that's a reptile' and then I get all anxious and can't settle on the right one and I go to quietly stand and look at the samples and whisper 'fabric. Fabric. Fabric has dimples. Cord is linear. That was a piece of burnt bone'
I (a hairdresser, not me) dyed my hair purple (on the sides) and blue (on the top) today and I look like I'm only seen under a special light. It's great.
In other news, it's been 21 years and I still hum that damn tune from Ocarina of Time when I'm doing something. I will never be free. I haven't even heard it in person in longer than actual adults have been alive, too.
My cat has been very cute and soft lately.
I need a glue stick because I have three matchboxes filled to the brim with what I *thought* was stickers but are just... tiny cut outs of paintings. Not stickers of them. Just very small posters for like, ants. And I wish to adorn my diary with Mucha and Van Gogh and nebulously victorian 'fairies'.

Date: 2020-02-07 08:11 am (UTC)That differentiation will become second-nature before you know it.
Your hair sounds super cool!
I guess they're stickers in that you could stick them to things if you really wanted to? If I were you I would probably message the seller asking for their definition of "stickers".

Date: 2020-02-07 09:35 am (UTC)There's no option for that, is the thing. eBay jumps right to 'gimme my refund!' and there's no 'please just amend your listing'
