Ursula Le Guin. What should I start with, of her books?

I'm stepping outside of my comfort zone of kid fiction for a bit.

With the disclaimer that it's been ages since I read it, The Word for World is Forest is really good.

From Wikipedia:
Several centuries in the future, humans from Earth have established a logging colony and military base named "New Tahiti" on a tree-covered planet whose small, green-furred, big-eyed inhabitants have formed a culture centered on lucid dreaming. Terran greed spirals around native innocence and wisdom, turning the ancient society upside down.

Hello stranger! :-) I would recommend Changing Planes.. It's a book of short stories of different worlds you can only get to by being truly bored at airports. They're quick and easy and very interesting (linguistics/anthropology stuff). I also love The Disposessed. I could never get into Earthsea, but I'm not into fantasy so much as sci-fi.

(drive-by book recs?!)
