Summary:
For the Lost Library exchange, I was matched to write a portion of the Necronomicon from HP Lovecrafts Cthulhu Mythos! I had never written anything in this style before but I was pretty excited.
I chose to expand on a line from the short story The Hound (linked in the fic, beause all the stories are online) where the amulet they discover is mentioned in the Necronomicon. So I wrote the amulet's entry using the (in universe) John Dee english translation that consisted solely of notes, added in some editor commentary, and a scholar looking at The Hound protoganist's suicide note/journal after the fact by about 40-30 years.
