slightly bigger picture here

I just watched The Secret of Kells. OH MY GOD. The art was so beautiful. Thing picture up there is a screencap. The music was great (I had it already on my ipod, it was nice to finally see the scenes where each music went), and I loved the story. I don't think I've ever seen a kids movie like it.

There was um, one scene where I PERHAPS got a little teary and my mother panicked thinking someone had died in rl.

Anyway, it's a beautiful movie. I just rented it on itunes, but I'm going to be buying a copy to keep.

Vikings are terrible, terrible people. My Swedish ancestors are so ashamed right now.

when this movie was in theaters, i happened to have a three hour break between classes and caught it in an almost-empty theater. DEAR GOSH, i was blown away. it was just. oh man. oh man!!

It never came to my city, which made me sad. But a lot of stuff doesn't. We are a trulky forsaken people.

SUCH a beautiful movie. I would have loved to see it on the big screen.
