'Oral sex' definition prompts dictionary ban in US schools

This article reminded me of an important experience in my childhood, chronicled in one of my old comics.

I'm not sure if it's pro or against what those people are doing in california, but they're dips anyway.

One day Ima redraw that thing, or redo its text at least.

I remember we were all drawn in middle school to a big dictionary in the school library with a diagram of intercourse, pelvises only and it was one of those cut-in-half ones to illustrate all the internal organs. Clinical though it was, we found it fascinating.

Obviously, banning a dictionary in school is stupid, btw.

I could have used that. You don't want to know what I was picturing for a lot of fanfic I read.

See, I'd rather my kids get definitions from a dictionary than porn! But girlchild, in particular, just asks me, and I answer. I've finally gotten over being embarrassed and just explain. Sometimes a bit TMI, but I'm not perfect

I try to explain to people now too! My mom hates it. It's now the rule that I have to tell her before I start explaining to her if a word is going to make her D: or not.

I think that's a good procedure, warning being the better part of explicit explanation

Oh, me too. And when Fox is just a bit older, I have a great book I'm holding onto to give him, for when he's too embarrassed to ask me or his dad. When he was about eight or nine, he Googled "penis" just to see what would happen, and the result pretty much cured him of looking up anything sex-related on the Internet. *G*
