I'm a big fan of when this series delves into folklore and cryptids more than stuff involving the apocalypse and the Big demons! Also ANYthing involving ghosts is a+ in my book.

I read my first book with these guys recently and I fell in *love* with the dynamic and how Archie is like 'oh this is how he is, this is his physical description' ad nauseum while also sounding *extremely* into it. Also re: the weight thing in the book, my main takeaway isn't 'avoid it' it's 'Rex Stout has no idea how much height adds onto a person's body weight' after they gave Nero Wolfe's weight # so you don't have to worry about this part.
