Finished a particularly troublesome course!

For the past couple of years I have taken a course at university called 'Artifact Analysis' as, you know, I pursue my dreams of archaeology. It's an interesting course with a good professor.

But every time I've taken it, including this year, someone close to me died suddenly. And I'd be upset and drop the course, as one does. This year I just kept going because I didn't want to see what happened if I took it a fourth time.

When I told my professor, she said: 'Curses are big in archaeology'

I got an A-. I miss the person I lost this year.

She's a great prof. Which is good because I have her for *two* courses next term.

I'm like, REASONABLY SURE this wasn't my fault but at the same time I'm very glad I finished the course.
