He's no Ickean lizard man, but Sidney Paget's Sherlock was pretty keen.
Well, after finishing The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe within like, ten minutes I wasn't sure what to do with myself. I was not ready to start reading another novel so quickly, but I still wanted to read.
Then I remembered I had two important things on my e-reader: Lovecraft stories, and Sherlock Holmes stories.
I went with the Sherlock, because I was also very tired and not up to going 'Oh, Lovecraft, no.'
These were the two short stories I read, I will include the links to their Gutenberg.org pages.
First: The Adventure of the Dying Detective. Sherlock is dying. What can Watson do? Also features, depending on your definition, a mad scientist. It was good times, this story. Plus: Features Mrs. Hudson.
Second: The Adventure of the Red Circle. It started out so promising, with scrapbooking. Sherlock and arts and crafts! What could go wrong? Then Sherlock did some stuff and the last half had nothing to do with him. He did, however, make a kicky pinecone wreath.*
And that was my Sherlock adventure.
Thank you for your time.
